Community Awards celebration

It was celebration time at the Rotary Club of Haworth & Worth Valley’s meeting at Newsholme Manor, Oakworth on Tuesday evening when they staged their Community Grant Scheme presentation evening,

Four from the six community organisations in Keighley and the Worth Valley who were successful with their applications received their grant recognition from the club’s Honorary member, Councillor Rebecca Poulsen.

Presented were Keighley and District Talking Newspaper; Haworth Central Park Bowling Club, Stitch4CharityWest Yorkshire and Lees Cum Cross Roads Village Association. While unable to be present were: Oxenhope CofE Primary School and Haworth Riding for the Disabled Group.
